WhY, HellO! :d
As I’m sure you’ve figured out by now, my name is Abigail :)
As a young twentysomething who’s still figuring out what this whole life thing looks like, I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed by darkness, and cradled by hope. (Sometimes on the same day, haha.)
And so I write mirror stories, with characters whose struggles are real, whose adventures have highs and lows, and whose worlds are delightful, dangerous, and magical.
Above all, my stories end with hope, because I believe the best way to conquer darkness is to walk through it towards the light.
If I’m not dreaming about a story with possibly too much magic, you can find me talking about God to anyone who wants to listen, planning my next adventure (most likely to Italy), and searching the clouds for dragons (I know they’re there, I just need to update my glasses prescription to see them).

I want you to know you’re not alone in how you’re feeling, and in life.
Which is why I’d love it if you joined my email list. Each month, I send out a newsletter that I wrote with you in mind. Your wants and needs, and your pains too. My prayer is that my email list is a space where you can wash the dirt from your feet, smile from your soul, and walk away restored.
We’ll dig into the messy things too, because messes seem to be as clingy as those invisible hot glue trails that tangle up you, your cat, and your aunt’s favorite coffee mug, but we’ll be cleaning them up together :)
To quote one of my favorite musicians, “We’re gonna lie in the dirt, but we’ll stare at the stars.”
Doesn’t that sound fun? We’ll laugh together, we’ll probably cry together too, but we won’t be doing it alone.
In case you were wanting to know me even better, I compiled a list of seven fun facts for you! :)
I have a cat named Freyr, and he is the best cat in the world. Apologies to the rest of the cats and cat owners, but you know that he wouldn’t let me say anything less.
I traveled from Kansas to Utah barefoot (or… sock-footed) because my only pair of shoes got accidentally locked in a building that didn’t open until after I had to be at the airport.
I am the best surfer in my family (you can ask any of them), and continue to lay claim to this despite having only surfed one (1) time and that was at the earliest five years ago.
Unashamedly addicted to pasta and boba tea. Like, seriously, if you want me to do anything (within reason), just bribe me with a good tagliatelle or a passionfruit milk tea.
I can name about half of the songs in my 2k+ track music library within the first ten seconds of listening to the song. It drives one of my brothers insane, so of course I’m slowly conquering the other half of my library.
Most people collect stickers, or stuffed animals, or other normal things. I collect copies of Treasure Island.
Orion is my favorite constellation. I wish I could say I have a deep or super significant reason why, but honestly I just feel like he’s my friend in the sky.
